These mile-high Cinnamon Applesauce Pancakes are a healthier variation to buttermilk pancakes. Your family is sure to fall in love with them like mine has!

I don’t know about you but I’ve never had any success making fluffy pancakes from scratch…that is until these wonderful pancakes entered my life. I adapted the original recipe a bit by adding half wheat flour (using all wheat was a flop) and more applesauce. It’s the perfect combination and these mile high pancakes are going to melt in your mouth at the very first bite!

These pancakes are a yummy breakfast, or even snack, by themselves. But for an added treat, top them with maple syrup or add a dollop of natural peanut butter! Either way you enjoy them, I know you’re going to love them!

I made these for breakfast this morning and they were a hit! I actually used all whole wheat white flour and sweetened them with pure maple syrup rather than sugar and used milk instead of water. These will definitely be a new favorite pancake choice!

Yay! So glad you enjoyed them, Crystal! (I’ll have to try sweetening with maple syrup – great idea!)

I don’t really have a website, I’m a senior citizen trying to learn new things. I’ve never been the best cook but there are things I do cook well. I’ve never made any of the foods you have just mentioned but I am interested. My husband likes to cook but I am a diabetic and can’t have Syrup. I have to use alternative things like adding cinnamon and bananas to pancakes. Well thanks for sharing.
