Word of Encouragement…This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure policy for more details.
A few days ago I was in the area where I lived before Trent and I got married. I’ve driven in this area many times since we were married but this time it was different. I couldn’t help but think of the road that I have traveled since that time. You see, when Trent met me I was working two jobs just to make ends meet, due to some unforeseen circumstances.
As I thought back to that time, I couldn’t help but thank God for how awesome He was and continues to be. He was much more than a provider for me during that time and I’m so thankful for Him being the rock I could rely upon. I had always dreamed of being debt free but never in a million years would I have imagined that that dream would be fulfilled so quickly. I give God all of the credit for fulfilling this dream. You see, God knows our deepest desires and wants to fulfill them if they’re in His will.
I share that with you to encourage you to push through whatever struggle you’re going through. You may be working two jobs to push yourself to pay off a bill, keep up the good work. You may be cutting back on your shopping trips to save for something special, keep up the good work. You may be saving every penny you have just to make ends meet, keep up the good work. I’ve been where you are and I know how hard it is. So, whenever you’re having a hard moment or day, tell yourself to keep up the good work.
