Where do coupons come from???

One of the questions I get asked a lot is where I get my coupons from. The majority of my coupons come from the weekly Sunday paper. In my area, the Tennessean is the best because it includes all of the coupon inserts. Other local papers will only carry one of the inserts each week. Currently, we subscribe and get four papers each week. (I found a deal where I could get them delivered for $1 each!!!) I usually tell people to get one paper per family member.

 

If you have a friend that gets the paper but does not use the coupons, ask them for their inserts. I have a couple friends that are so sweet to let me have theirs. I have also heard of people dumpster diving in the paper recycle bins for inserts. I haven’t gotten that brave but have thought about it. ;o)

 

You can also print coupons. Here are a few places that I frequent.

 

 

You can also load coupons onto your loyalty card (Kroger card in my area) and your savings will be taken off when you scan your card at the register. You will have to create an account at these sites but it’s very easy. Here are the places I frequent.

 

 

There are many different ways to organize your coupons. I have found that the binder method works best for me. Some people will organize their inserts by the week and then clip the coupons when they need them. Find a system that works best for you and stick with it. There are weeks when I don’t want to clip my coupons but force myself to. Maybe you can even talk your spouse into helping you!!!
