Today as we take a break from our normal posts, I encourage you to be still for just a few minutes and take some time to meet with God. God is all around us; we just have to take the time to experience Him. Psalm 46:10 encourages us to, “Be still and know that I am God.

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. ~ James 5:13

If you’re feeling insecure about yourself and unsure of your abilities today, I have good  news for you. You don’t have to know all the answers. You just have to now the One who does know all the answers. If you’re lacking wisdom; if you’re overwhelmed with responsibilities; if you’re having trouble at work – go to God.

James 5:13 tells us to do just that – “Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray.” Prayer changes things. Have you been hitting your knees on a regular basis? If not, you’re missing out. God has all of the answers. He knows the exact information you need for your meeting tomorrow. He knows the way to win over your difficult friend. He knows it all! And what’s more, He is willing to share it all with you.

Prayer is your connection to the Creator of the entire Universe. And we have access to Him twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. You just can’t beat a deal like that! So why not put in some “on your knees time” today? After praising Him for all of your blessings and putting in all of your requests, make sure you take time to listen. God may want to impart some wisdom to you this very day.
