Take A Minute Tuesday…

Today as we take a break from our normal posts, I encourage you to be still for just a few minutes and take some time to meet with God.  God is all around us; we just have to take the time to experience Him.  Psalm 46:10 encourages us to, “Be still and know that I am God.”

How is your perception?  Do you have a positive perceiver or a negative perceiver?  In Numbers 13, Moses sent out twelve spies to survey the land that God had promised the Isrealites.  The Bible says that all twelve spies saw the exact same thing – a land flowing with milk and honey; large scrumptious grapes; rich, fertile soil; and some very large giants.  Ten of those spies had their negative perceivers on.  They came back and reported how impossible it would be to take over the land due to the resident giants.  But two of the spies had on their positive perceivers.  They came back and said, “Hey, we are well able to conquer those giants and possess the land!”

Basically, ten had faith in the giants and two had faith in God.  They all saw the same thing, but only two men saw the situation through faith eyes.  Which perceiver do you have on today?  Are you looking at your situation through faith eyes?

Make a decision right now that you’re going to use your positive perceiver in all situations, and keep your faith eyes in focus by staying in the Word.
