I love easy desserts and this Strawberry Cobbler is definitely one of those recipes! Not only is it delicious, but it's super simple to make. Plus, you could make it with any berries you have on-hand!

A few nights ago as I was gunking around on the interweb and landed on a blueberry cobbler recipe. I’m not usually a cobbler kind of girl, but this one looked super yummy. The only problem was that I didn’t have any blueberries. But then a light bulb popped over my head and I remembered that I had strawberries – perfect!

This recipe couldn’t be any easier to make. While you’re mixing the dough portion, you can chop up your strawberries. (And, if you don’t have strawberries, use whatever berries you have on hand!)

This Strawberry Cobbler is best served warm from the oven.

Trent and I both loved the crunchy top that the sugar created. We were both wishing we had a scoop of vanilla ice cream to add to the top – next time!

I am wondering if you can use frozen berries and if so fo you make any changes..like letting the berries thaw or maybe adding more flour. Thank you and Happy Baking from Canada…in the province of New Brunswick. Bet you google my wheresbouts. I know I would lol.

Judy, I think you could definitely use frozen berries with this recipe. I would just make sure they’re thawed and that you drain off any extra juice.

Enjoy! And thanks for stopping by from Canada. :o)

My new favorite recipe! Made with fresh strawberries , fresh peaches, and frozen blueberries (put them on frozen, came out perfect, just had to bake it a bit longer)…. With peaches I added a touch of cinnamon and allspice to the batter, with blueberries added a bit of fresh squeezed lemon juice…. Each fruit dessert l had its own unique flavor, all delicious, super easy, and that crunchy sugar finish is the best! Thank you for sharing!
