Remembering Dad, Part 3

Growing up our family earned extra money by cleaning the City Hall.  We each had different responsibilities.  So, at an early age we learned how to properly clean.  One thing I remember that dad would always tell us was, “Do it right or don’t do it at all.”  Even though he would say this, we knew that we didn’t have a choice as to whether or not we were going to do that particular assignment.  So, in essence, he could have said, “Do it right or don’t do it at all, and you’re going to do it.”
Thanks to him, we learned how to follow through on projects.  He taught us that we shouldn’t give up and to do things to the best of our ability.  I’m so thankful to him for this.
