Pledge Dry Cloths Review…

One of my goals for this month was to dust the baseboards. I know…what was I thinking?  Ever since I added it to my goals, I’ve been putting it off because I really didn’t want to do it.  I mean, who really likes to dust? (If you’re one of those people who likes to dust, you’re more than welcome to come over anytime!)
This morning I decided that I’d go ahead and get it done so that I wouldn’t have to think about it any longer. I grabbed a wet rag and set off to do my chore. After finishing one room I noticed that my rag was collecting a lot of particles. That’s good, right?

Wrong. As I moved to my second room I noticed that I was making a mess and the particles were getting all over the place.

Ding! A lightbulb went off and I remembered that I have some Pledge Dry Cloths in my stash. I quickly jumped up to try these, hoping that they wouldn’t make as big a mess as the wet rag.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well these worked. The package states that they have “grab-it technology,” and they’re not lying. I can’t tell you how much gunk they grabbed. I would say they’re dust magnets!

Do you know that spot in the carpet between the baseboard and where the vacuum doesn’t quite reach? Well, it grabbed those particles too…I can’t tell you how pumped I was! (I can’ believe that I just admitted how much dust we have/had in our house.)

It was a lot easier to use these dry cloths than it would be to lug around the bottle of Pledge with my rag. I mean, I was crawling around on the floor.  Not only were these Pledge Dry Cloths convenient but they left the fresh scent of orange!

Now, in normal circumstances, it would only take one of these dry cloths to do your dusting. In this case, it took me four. (I was kinda glad that the picture didn’t show all of the nasty particles that were collected, because there were a lot.) One package contains 16 cloths so that will last you a while!
If you’re in the market for a new dusting product, I highly recommend that you try these Pledge Dry Cloths. They are awesome!

Anonymous – I got them at Publix but I'm sure there's quite a few stores that carry them. Charity – You're welcome; glad you like the article!

This is one chore I give to my girls every quarter. We have found that Magic Erasers work really well too. About 2 xlarge ones will clean our whole house. But I do love the idea of the Pledge wipes w/ the orange scent! Where do you get them? I have never seen them.
