Just as the name suggests, this Super Simple Company Chicken is so very easy to make! You’ll have it in the oven and cooking in under 15 minutes!
You’ll get a laugh out of this. I had planned all day to make this recipe, but when it was time to start supper I realized I didn’t have one ingredient – sour cream. How could I goof up a recipe with only 5 ingredients? So, as per usual, I improvised. Thankfully it turned out just as tasty. I’ve never made this before so Trent didn’t know the difference.
In case you’ve never purchased dried beef, I thought I would include a picture of the jar. If you have a hard time finding it, look at Walmart by the tuna and the rest of the canned meat products. That’s where I found mine.
Super Simple Company Chicken
4-6 boneless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz milk
1 jar of dried beef
Bacon (I used turkey bacon)
Place dried beef in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Wrap chicken with bacon strips and place on top of the dried beef. Mix milk and soup and pour on top of the chicken. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until chicken is done.
*If you want a creamier sauce, use sour cream in place of the milk.
The bacon and dried beef gave the chicken a wonderful flavor. (I opted not to eat the bacon, but did have the dried beef.)
I was excited when Trent gave this meal a thumbs up!
