These cookies are melt in your mouth awesome.

Ingredients:
2-Sugar Cookie Mixes (and items recipe calls for)
2 bags of chocolate chips
2-large peppermint sticks (or candy canes)

Prepare cookie mix according to directions.  Press the cookie mix onto a cookie sheet and bake according to directions.  The cookie will need to cool on the cookie sheet so keep in mind that it will continue baking for a bit when you take it out of the oven.  You do not want to over bake it.

While the cookie is baking, place the peppermint into a bag and crush it (I used the bottom of a sauce pan).

When the cookie is finished baking, pour the chocolate chips on top while it is still hot.  Allow the chips to melt (you may have to place it back in the oven for 15-30 seconds).

Spread the chocolate evenly over the cookie.

Sprinkle the peppermint on top of the cookie and allow to set (takes 1-2 hours).
