You don’t know what you’ve been missing until you whip together your very own batch of DIY sugar scrub. Seriously folks, this scrub is sooooo easy to make and will leave your hands feeling silky smooth! (And I’m guessing the rest of your body too, but I haven’t tried that yet!)
1 cup White Sugar
1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
15 drops of Essential Oils
8 oz Mason Jar
Yield: One mason jar full
Thoroughly mix together the sugar and coconut oil. If you’d rather have a runnier consistency feel free to add more oil.
(If you’re allergic to coconut oil you could easily use grapeseed, jojoba or almond oil.)
Add your essential oils and mix well. (Ahh…can’t you just smell it now! Heavenly, simply heavenly!)
Yes, that’s all it takes to make your very own DIY sugar scrub. I told you it was easy peasy!
Place the sugar scrub in your clean (and dry) mason jar.
Wouldn’t your friends love to have their very own jar of DIY sugar scrub? These scrubs are perfect as gifts, and you can personalize the scent for each friend/family member!
How To Use DIY Sugar Scrub
Place a small spoonful of sugar scrub in your hands and move around just as if you were washing your hands. (Don’t forget to get in between your fingers!) When you’ve thoroughly worked the scrub into your hands, rinse with water. Your hands will now feel as soft as a baby’s bottom, so enjoy!
